The inspiration for this Hello Cobweb Hoop comes straight out of my cottage garden. With the much needed rains here in Scotland after an unseasonably warm summer as I was plucking the plums from the tree, I noticed the loveliest cobwebs sparkling with raindrops in the sunshine. It always amazes me how delicate strands withstand the elements and hold such heavy raindrops.
With Halloween just around the corner, I thought that capturing this little magic of nature with delicate glass beads and embroidery would be a subtle way to decorate for Halloween. It would also make for a lovely sign in a garden room or conservatory.
